USPSTF Opportunity for Public Comment: Screening and Management of Obesity in Adults

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) is inviting public comment on its draft recommendation statement on screening and management of obesity in adults. The draft recommendation statement on screening and management of obesity in adults is an update of the 2003 USPSTF recommendation. To provide comments, please go to http://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/draftrec5.htm. The evidence report that informed the draft recommendation was published in the October 4 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine and is available on the USPSTF Web site at http://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/uspstf11/obeseadult/obeseart.htm. The opportunity to comment on this draft recommendation statement will be available until November 23.
